Well, that was the end of 2009, and 2010 is awaiting with new knitting challenges. 2009 was a good knitting year, and hopefully so will 2010 be.

Thank you all for stopping by, hope to see you again at my new 2010 blog

I stumbled over the Multnohma scarf on the net, and just had to make it. Tried to make it in sockyarn, but thought it got too small, so made this one in Kauni on needles 4½ mm.
I didn't block it as I don't like blocking the feather and fan pattern, this way it looks more natural.

Do I need to say that it will not be my last Multnohma?

It was the last item I finished in 2009, but there are a lot of stuff I didn't get to take pics of, like some baby vests, a doll sweater, and some more scarfs.

HA did you think I was done with the scarves?

Yet another scarf in Kauni, this one also done in the feather and fan pattern

And one more Kauni scarf, this time just in garther stitch. One can be lazy at times ;)

Something different............

Well, at least is something different from the scarves.

A babysweater in sock yarn, and done with short rows.

About time

Well, I guess it is about time I get this updated.

I have kept my knitting needles clicking away throughout the past months, and they are still clicking.

Among the finished things I have made is this little babysweater in sockyarn, knit using the short row technique.

A handful of babyhats, also done in sock yarn

Then I went into scarf mode, made this in rainbow colored Kauni

Another scarf in mohair from the paradise of BC yarn

Found this Chinese hand dyed wool at Ebay, so just had to try it out, especially as it came with free shipping ;)

Well, I finally finished the Presto Chango I started on long before the baby was born. The pattern was one I found through Ravelry. A very easy pattern, so I will probably make another one for him, if his mother likes this one ;)

The yarn used is a bit thick, which I am not happy about. Babies and worsted weight yarn don't go together in my opinion. I also find the sleeves a bit too long.
